Abc Towing

Stay away from this company. I called for a tow and was given the fee of $65.00 for the tow and $3.00 per mile with 5 mile minimum. I agree and they said they would have someone available in 20 min. I gave them my credit card information. Ten minutes later I got a called back from them telling me driver was on his way and that the charges were $65.00 for the tow and $3.85 per mile. I said ok realizing that the mile charge went up, but I disregarded because I knew I was not going over the 5 mile. \r The driver came and pick up the car and later calls me to let me know my total. He said my total was $154.00. I immediately ask why. He went on to say that there was a service fee and a long distance fee. I told him I did not agree to those charges. He said call the office because he does not make up the prices.\r When I called the office a lady named Nancy was super rude an unapologetic. She said she would remove one of the fees but not the other. I ask to speak to the manager named Norma, she told me to call back on Monday. \r I call back on Monday and I got a kinder and gentler Nancy who finally told me I was being charge $119.00 and that I got off cheap. I told her that I dont mind paying for service as long as I know upfront. She did said I am sorry but the price is firm.\r Moral of this story is if your are going to use them ask in advance for all the services, have them sign a contract and keep one of their children as leverage because once you give them your credit card you are at their merci. or better yet use a company that values you as a customer! more

Can you say bait and switch? They quote one price over the phone, then once they load your car they demand twice as much or they take your car. more

We called to have our Jeep towed as my wife and daughter were stuck in the afternoon summer Atlanta sun. They were quoted $65 + $3/mile, so we agreed and the driver would there shortly. After the car has been towed to the dealer, we the bill and make payment. Then it becomes apparent we were over charged by $45. \r \r We called to ask why and were told that the driver can at his discretion add labor into the bill. He never told us before he towed it, after he towed it, at no time did anyone twll us there was going to be $45 added.\r 08/10/2010 1pm - I call regarding the over charge and was told that they would have to wait till the driver returned and the would call us back.\r \r 08/10/2010 4pm - I called as a follow up since I didn't get a call back and was tol the manager NORA would have to review, gave all of the information, and was told she would call in 2-3 business days.\r \r 08/17/2010 1pm - I called to speak to NORA and she was at lunch. I asked to speak to someone else but she is the manager. Again I gave all of my information. and was told she will call me when she returns.\r \r 08/17/2010 - I called as NORA never called me back. Was told she left for the day.\r \r 08/18/2010 9am - I called to speak to NORA and was told she is unavailable and agian I gave all of my information and told she will call me back.\r \r ABC Towing obviously makes a living over charging customers they aren't made aware of.\r \r Then they dodge the customers phone calls with NORA isn't around or available.\r \r Each time I call and ask to speak to NORA, the person restates hat I have called ABC Towing. I explain that I am wanting to speak to NORA the manager and then the person decides to see if NORA is around. \r \r I don't think there is a NORA as if NORA was the real name of the manager each person would know her name and not thinking that I've called the wrong number.\r \r \r STAY CLEAR OF THIS BUSINESS \r \r THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY\r \r more
