Excellent Work and Service 9/23/2016

As a first-time home owner , I'm always leery of calling professional services and being taken advantage of with additional costs and fees. NOT THE CASE WITH ABACUS. My technician was courteous professional and responsive to my concerns. Up-front pricing before work began gave me peace of mind. Exterior job took total of 3 hours and the technician was working in the pouring rain. Completely impressed with dedication and skill set. Look forward to building my relationship with Abacus. more

Everything was fine with Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electrical, they were great. We are in the middle of a big renovation work here so we don't have time to really break it down but they were part of it and they were good, we didn't have any problems and we would recommend them. more

Eddie was scheduled to arrive at??11 am??but called about??8:30??and asked if it would be Ok to start at about??9 O'clock??since he had finished the job he was working on sooner than he expected gladly we said yes. He arrived and asked what was the problem with our water heater so I told him what we had done we knew the water heater was bad and he confirmed our views. First, he explained the plans he had and we agreed on a plan where we could use the water heater we purchased about a month earlier. He went straight to the attic and went to work, I told him I sure was hoping that it would have waited until winter when it was cooler, but it didn't seem to bother him as he was dripping with sweat. He got everything disconnected and waited for his partner Mike to arrive to help get the old water heater out and the new one installed which went pretty quick. Needless to say we had hot water around??1:30??that afternoon great team work by Eddie and Mike. I think they have done this before. Thanks for your quick response and professional work.?? more

Tom was so professional and friendly as he performed the annual maintenance and inspection of all plumbing related fixtures and pipes throughout my house. He answered my questions and concerns without the drama of trying to sell me something I really didn't need. One thing he did that truly sets him apart from ALL other plumbers. He took on my challenge when he said the drain plug in the master bath sink doesn't work. I told him it hasn't worked since I moved in the house 20 years ago. He said I can fix it. I smiled and said good luck, none of the other plumbers in my annual inspection even cared about it. A few minutes later, he says it's fixed. What? It just made me smile. Whenever I pull that drain plug in the master bath sink, I smile to myself. One of the toilets mysteriously ran on its own every now and then ... he fixed it with parts from a toilet repair kit I forgot I had left under the sink. There's more but you should join the BAM membership and ask for Tom and find out for yourself how thorough his inspection is. You will be very happy with his work. more

Very happy with the service 9/13/2016

Mateo came when he was supposed to. He knew what needed to be done. He performed the work neatly and efficiently. The sheet-metal panel was removed and rehung with virtually no evidence that it had been moved. You can send Mateo back here any time. more

I have used the services of the people over at Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electrical for quite a few things and they are just great. The personnel that they send out are always very nice and professional. They arrive on time and then they assess the situation. I like that once they have finished assessing the situation they then give me my options on how we can proceed. Once I pick an option and we move forward the job gets done with no problems or issues. I really cannot recommend these guys highly enough. more

Abacus offers great service for customers 9/11/2016

Keith from Abacus came out yesterday and inspected my AC unit. He did a great job! He was very knowledgeable, helpful and answered all my questions. As a single mom, I'm learning about house maintenance issues that my ex-husband used to handle. So it's really nice to have a company like Abacus that is so responsive and that I can trust. more

Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electrical have always done such a great job and we have used them for about 5 years now. They are consistently reliable and dependable. They respond quickly and always make a real effort to get to us as soon as they possibly can. They are honest and really take the time to explain everything in detail and make certain I understand it all. The technicians they have are so knowledgable and really do top-quality work. I can be confident every time! Another great thing is that they are clean and careful not to track in mud as they come in and out of the homes. You can really tell how much they respect and value customers and their property. I love that! They are a bit expensive....but we have always said it's worth the quality work done. Plus - with every worker - I felt safe. That matters to me, and so much to my husband! They really are the best! more

Abacus - The best service for the money 9/9/2016

I love their yearly maintenance. For electrical, plumbing and AC tune up each year (AC twice), you can not beat it the price. Each tech is super helpful and showed and explained everything I needed to know and then some. I would totally recommend them for all your household needs. more

Plumbing & Drain Problems 9/9/2016

We recently engaged Abacus to resolve problems with our drains, garbage disposal, under sink plumbing, kitchen faucet, and provide us with a quote for a future project to repipe the upstairs bathroom with PEX. The technicians arrived on time and resolved all of the issues. Chris and Steve took the time to explain the process, made the repairs, and explained their pricing. We have used Abacus many times and have always been pleased with their prompt response, professional behavior, and their quality repairs. more
