First off, an auto loan at 23.5% is just terrible, but I had bad credit, so that is what you get I suppose. What I truly could not stand is they have no way of receiving payments except regular old snail mail. No online resources, no phone payments, the best they could do was Western Union, which cost over 20 bucks and took me about an hour to sign up and process.
I have since refinanced...however, there are issues there as well.
1) I requested my payoff balance...it took them 24 hours to respond with the balance. REALLY!?!? My new financiers have my payoff balance in my online account, whenever I am curious, I can check it out.
2) In attempting to Transfer Title, I never received the Pink Slip and neither did my new account holder. I called to check the status, and because I refinanced, was told all details of my account were no longer in their system. They could not check records of when and where they sent the Title, just simply told me, they sent all required documents and since I no longer have an account with them they are unable to assist me. So, now I must get a duplicate for another 50 bucks from the dmv.
How is this bank in business? Archaic, rude, and incompetent.
