Our family has used A-pet care many times and the employee was Jean. We would have expected loving and excellent care however, Jean insulted my mother, called her a hoarder, made threats, called our animals awful names. We want to make sure no one goes through an experience like this. This women is being taken to court for defermation of character. If you choose to use this service do not ever let Jean in your home. My Mother actually felt physically threatened by this women after nasty notes, emails, and additional threats. Pets should be loved and so should people. Be aware of business and their employees. I have two 80 lb female dogs with opposite personalities. Abigail is 7 years old. She has several congenital anomalies which include one functioning eye, one functioning kidney, and an enlarged heart. Grace is a hyperactive 4 year old who was a rescue that was deemed unadoptable. For those reasons, the 'girls' have always traveled with me. However, I recently have a new little girl in my life, my niece, who lives two hours away. I made the decision not to take my dogs to her home because of the chaos and hair that follow them. I was new to Knightdale area and had no one that I could trust in my home and trust to care for them. I've never used a pet sitter and was skeptical, but thought it was worth a try. I interviewed two area pet sitters and was simply not comfortable. When I had almost given up hope, A-Pet Care from Sleep-Eas-ZZ (Knightdale NC) came into my life. When the owners arrived at my home, they were professional and organized. Jean, who services the Knightdale area, also arrived and I was immediately at ease. She was anxious to meet my girls. Although it was only their first meeting, she was firm enough to control their behavior, but showed such respect for them. It was obvious to me that Jean had a great understanding of dog behavior and an unconditional love for animals. I will admit that I was very nervous the first time I traveled out of town for the weekend. Jean understood my motherly concern and called me each day to let me know that all was well. When I returned, Jean had straightened the doggie blankets, put my mail on the counter, and left me a note describing the weekend. My dogs are far from perfect and have offered her challenges from time to time, but Jean is very knowledgeable and confident. I don't question her abilities. Jean came into our lives almost one year ago. She pet sits for me once a month on average to allow me to visit my family. She loves my girls like I love my girls. She is a rare and wonderful person. We have been working with Mardella and Neil for 6 years and we love their services. They are so easy to work with! When we first contacted them we had one dog and wanted her to enjoy a walk during the day when we were at work. They were so flexible and accomodating to our schedule, we asked them to continue when we got our second dog 2 years ago. Our pups LOVE having Mardella and Neil come by. In the last year, Michelle has been working with our two pups. When I first met Michelle, she took our dogs out in the back yard to play. They absolutely loved her! It is great to have the peace of mind that our dogs are being taken care of when we're away. Mardella, Neil and Michelle are so warm and caring. They don't just let them outside for a quick walk. They play with them and spend time with them in the back yard. They treat my dogs as if they were their own! more

Mardella and Neil have been caring for our cats for over 5 years, we LOVE their service and highly recommend them. One of our cats needs daily medicine, which is no problem at all for them. They go above and beyond just the pet care ""maintenance"", by taking time to play with our cats and spending time with them on each visit. They also water plants and keep an eye on the house. We trust them completely. more

I started using A-1 back in February, when I had to go out of the country for a week. Up until that point my family had been able to care for my pets (1 dog and 2 cats) when I went out of town, and honestly, I was a bit nervous about using an outside service. more

I have been using Sleep-Eas-zz pet sitting service for 5 years now and truly enjoy working with them. Not only do they care for my two cats perfectly, but they also look after my house while I'm gone really making it easy for me to go on vacation and relax. They are extremely dependable and do everything they say they will do. In addition to cleaning the litterboxes, feeding, changing water, etc. they also play with the cats, brush them, and have given me great advice for caring for my pets.
