Don't use this pet store 10/29/2005

This really is not a good pet store. The animals sit in their own feces and the store always smells terrible. Go to a breeder and find your pup. They really don't have anyone who knows anything about dogs or cats. They recommend the high priced non-nutritiona dog food. l They don't carr y the super premium dog or cat food which is what your pets deserve. They only carry the food (like Iams and Science Diet) with corn meal and that is very low quality for your pets. Do a good search for super premium dog food and you will learn why these foods are no good for your dog. more

Convenient pet supplies store 8/15/2005

I have been to this pet store a couple of times. They seem to deal with all kind of pet supplies. I have a dog so I mostly went there to get toys and treats. They are located amongst a bunch of clothing stores, like Gap, Century21, etc. It is a convenient place to go to after you do your shopping. You can pick up something special for your pet. A treat for you and a treat for them. The prices are slightly more than the chain pet stores but if you want to just pick up something small, this is the place for you. If you like buying in bulk, I wouldn't suggest going here. I usually just pick up one or two new toys for my dog here. They have friendly staff that are willing to help you. more

lowest prices 8/11/2005

I go to these guys for fish food. They have the lowest prices in the area and very friendly sales staff. I go in there just for a minute and I end up staying a half hour because of their chatty sales staff. They also carry exotic birds and a vast array of other supplies for your pet. more

Good Pet Store In Brooklyn 8/5/2005

When it was my brother’s birthday, I decided to buy him a pet fish. I bought the fish tank and everything else. They had good fish food. The owner gave me some tips about caring for the fish. I saw that there was huge selection of pets besides fish including snakes and lizards. There were also hermit crabs and snails. The store was big and there were beautiful displays in the front. The store itself looked very appealing. more

Pet Store 8/1/2005

I went into A World of Pets a few times to get some supplies for my fish and birds, but they don't really have that much variety of merchandise available in this store. You are better off going to a larger pet store, such as Petland, which has a bigger variety. It isn't the cleanest pet store and I saw quite a few dead fish floating in the aquarium tanks. I wanted some cat food, but they didn't carry the brand I wanted, and they also didn't have some other cat supplies that I needed. more
