First visit to 240 Union and even though it's a bit out of the way for us, we'll return. Our party tried the sizzling shrimp, linguini, grilled scallops, the pistachio-encrusted pork chop and the nightly special, which was walleye. A few of us being mid-westerners, when we see walleye, we fight to see who gets to order it. All breads, appetizers, wines and dinners were great. The wine list, although not huge in the by the glass options, still has a couple of nice finds. Try a little Semillon with dessert. In fact, the after dinner menu has something for everybody. If I had any complaints, it was the length of time, between sitting down and getting the water and/or drink order. You don't want to be rushed but at the same time, you do want somebody to notice you. It's a fine line that was strained a couple of times during the evening, not bad but the line was crossed. Nothing to keep us from coming back though.
Pros: Fine food for the adults, good variety for the kids
Cons: Can get a bit loud, parking is tight on weekends
