Review content:
AFI is a great movie theatre to visit when you need a break from the local megaplex. It's also the theatre to go for the movie you've been waiting to see on the big screen and the megaplex just won't do it (too old, too controversial, too artsy).
The individual theatres are just the right size: not so huge that you can't even see the front row, but big enough to fit a great-size screen.
There is a bit of a bygone era feeling at AFI: the colors of the interior, the staff, and the movie selections.
