Businiess name:  Baked
Review by:  Kate J.
Review content:
Often when you order a piece of cake from a nice little bakery, you'll get a nice little slice. At Baked, on the other hand, not only are the cakes unbelievably good, the counter staff also seems to appreciate that, though we are New Yorkers, we are still Americans, and we want our portions big. For $4, you get a huge mound of luscious, beautiful cakey goodness from one of their regular cakes (carrot, chocolate malted, red velvet, double dark) or whatever the special Cake of the Month happens to be. If it happens to be something involving peanut butter (they once had a Fluffernutter cake), I highly recommend you deny all other temptations and go with that; this tongue has never tasted such perfection. Also home to giant scones, creamy hot chocolate, good coffee, the inevitable panini, and two counter boys who look nearly identical.
