Review content:
My friend and I needed some salon therapy last year, and we asked for a referral from our server where we were having lunch. That is how I became aware of Obadiah, and I have had happy hair days ever since.
We walked in, and I wound up in Apryl McCarthy's chair. It turns out that she has won the best stylist award in the Best of the Northwest contest through Evening Magazine at least 2 times in the past 3 years. She is very skilled at cutting hair in a way that allows you to style it yourself and have it look (almost) as good as when you leave the shop. She is also an incredibly skilled colorist, and is very good at bringing depth with a combination of high and lowlights.
They do not come cheap, but considering they offer full salon and spa services in the middle of downtown Bellevue, their prices could be a lot worse. It is a great place to unwind after a busy day.
