This is a great way to relax and tap into your creativity. It is a fun place to go and experiment and try new things. Although it is not cheap it is a neat activity especially for kids. I took my stepdaughter there and we had lots of fun picking out things to paint and trying all the supplies out. The staff is great and very helpful and informative. We were beginners and had lots of questions and got all the help we needed. There are a variety of items to choose from and also a wide range of prices. There are dishes, platters, picture frames, boxes, figurines, and all kinds of other ceramic to choose from. The bisque or 'green' ceramic is dried and cleaned and ready to paint. You just choose the paint and glaze you want and use the brushes, stamps or sponges provided and create your own masterpiece. When you are done you give your item to the staff who will fire it for you and you can come and pick up your finished work in about a week. We didn't get too extravagant but we did have a lot of fun and both have a keepsake to remember our experience. It is a great activity to work in with a nice lunch and browsing the stores in downtown Poulsbo. I will definitely go there again.
