Review content:
Last summer on a whim, we decided to head to the beach for a day and night. We called and fortune found us a yurt to stay in at Cape Lookout State Park. What a marvelous time we had. It is definitely a family oriented campground with kids riding their bikes around the small winding roads. Certainly safe too, as we noticed many bikes parked by the entrance to the beach were not even locked. The beach is long and very sandy with a pleasant enough breeze for kite flying. Make sure to take the time to walk along the nature hike by the far end of the park and check out the storm damage on the trees there… absolutely amazing!
