Not only did the Carefee Inn accommodate us on one of the busiest days of the year for this small central Texas town they did WONDERFUL providing us service. The Luling Watermelon Thump is a big event in Luling and being as there are only a couple hotels we figured things would be pricey and would not have any vacancy. The gentleman at the desk was more than helpful and offered us a room. The previous place we went did not even want to talk to us as we did not have reservations. Not only did we get a room, the gentleman at the desk came up to make sure everything was okay and to ensure we got in.
