I've had a completely different experience with Joyce. She altered both my sister-in-law's wedding gown and mine, my mother's dresses for 2 weddings, and a bridesmaid dress for me. Everytime she has done amazing work - and we've given her big challenges. (I had to have her alter a dress in two weeks because I was 5 months pregnant and constantly growing! She did it wonderfully.) The gowns and dresses have looked fabulous when she was done. She was always very accomodating and quick and was very reasonable in price. She had a huge amount of work to do on my wedding dress (including lots and lots of beadwork) and the total price (including steaming when it was done) was only like $150. Which is VERY reasonable for a wedding dress that needed a lot of help. I will gladly go back to her any day with any alteration. Don't let the other review scare you away. She's a very nice woman and does amazing work.
