Wow, okay so my first thought as I approached the bar was ""Interesting place for a Cajun named establishment"". It was, after all in a pseudo strip mall not far from downtown Vancouver. '\r \r The tables were covered in cheap black plastic table covering, the water glasses were scuffed plastic Pepsi? glasses, and the bathrooms were behind a set of wooden swinging doors reminescent of a wild west saloon. In addition, though the men's and women's rooms were separate, each held only the stool while the sink and mirror were shared outside these lockable doors in the alcove separated by the bar by those fabulous swinging doors.\r \r Though the menu included things like aligator bites and other Cajun food items, my friends stuck with more traditional menu items like nachos and chicken strips. The chicken strips basket looked to be comparable to most bar food as did the nachos. The table next to mine ordered fried chicken which came out to the table looking almost burned. Since I only had a bite of the nachos I can't really comment on the food other than the prices seemed reasonable.\r \r My main reason for checking out the place was the band, so I figured I could tolerate the rest of it. Surprisingly, I had a great time. The drinks were cheap, the band was really hot and the patrons of the bar especially friendly and ready to dance at the drop of a hat.\r \r I don't know that I would go back again unless for the band, but it was definitely an experience I won't soon forget. Pros: Cheap drinks, parking Cons: Sketchy crowd
