I was in Ojai a few weekends ago, just driving around looking for a place to eat with my boyfriend and we ended up stopping in at the Deer Lodge. It looked so quintessential Ojai from the outside, rustic and lodge-y. The food was actually pretty good. The burger my boyfriend had was great, and the tuna sandwich was very tasty. The fries were terrific, too. The best part though was all the beer on tap...it was 108 degrees outside! I could have done without all the taxideric wild animals, but otherwise it was a great place for a burger and a beer.
