Review content:
This is the first negative review I have written--but never has it been so well deserved. The manager of this store is absolutely horrible. I had several issues with our tuxedo rental, but what really floored me was the callous manner in which the manager dealt with all of these issues. The hem on my son's pants was (and I am not exaggerating here) 12 inches too short. Really, how can that happen? Okay, so mistakes can occur, but when I have to rush in 15 minutes before Senior Ball to get a new pair of pants, wouldn't you at least expect an ""I'm sorry""? All I received was a ""well, here you go, we fixed it."" The new pair were three inches shorter than the measurment I gave her on the phone (and too late now to do anything about that). I had to seriously wonder if a disgruntled employee messed with the measuring tape. When I told her that upon return of the tux she--wait for this -- rolled her eyes at me. Seriously, are we a burden to them that we want to rent tuxedos and we would like them to be a wearable fit? The lesser issues were that my son was overcharged $25 from what I was quoted, and this lady gave his friend a free rental right in front of him if he would give up a student directory. Nice, huh? Did I mention that the quality was terrible? And that the fabric on the flood-length pants didn't match the jacket? All of these issues, including the crappy alterations could have been overlooked if only the manager could have been decent and cared even remotely about the customers. How has this place stayed in business with a lady like that managing? I will do all I can to see that none of my friends or aquaintences ever rent from this store. This is the first issue I have ever had with a tuxedo rental (could it be that I had never used Tuxedo Junction before?) in my many years of renting in the Salt Lake Valley. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. Pros: colors of vests Cons: EVERYTHING ELSE, especially customer service
