I paid over $200 to get my dress cleaned and preserved at MD. When I picked up the dress and took it home, I opened the box to find out they had given me the wrong dress! I went back to the store, got my dress, opened the box and not only was it placed sloppily in the box, but it wasn't cleaned at all. My ivory dress had some small white wine stains on the front and some dirt stains on the bottom of the trim from walking around. I spoke to the manager who took the dress back to clean it again. After 4 weeks I had to call them to see if my dress was ready (they were supposed to notify me when it was ready to be picked it up). When I got to the store, the manager just raved about how great it looked. Well when we opened up the box, the dress was again placed sloppily in the box and it looked about the same as when I brought it in. The manager called the owner and was going to send it to him, but I just asked for a refund and my dress. Overall it was a nightmare of an experience!
