I stumbled upon the salon while looking for a vendor of Schwarzkopf products. I had just moved to Boston, and was already addicted to their full line of shampoo and conditioners. I also needed a haircut, and I knew that Schwarzkopf was really picky about the salons where they distribute products--finding Salon 23 West was like hitting to birds with one stone.\r

Unfortunately, I have not yet made it in for the trim, but I wanted to report that they were so nice in connecting me with my much-loved shampoo. I was really pleasantly surprised--while I love being pampered, it usually comes at the expense of feeling a bit overwhelmed. Here, things were different-- everyone I spoke with was kind, funny, and helpful.
Pros: Staff is really sweet, great products
