Review content:
When this place is good, it's really good; but when it's bad, oh, dear.
I went for the lunch buffet today. The service was inattentive, as usual, but today I got the extra rude bonus of the server picking up the payment folder and actually SNORTING when he saw the tip I left (I left 25%!). He didn't ask if I needed change, didn't say thank you, didn't ask if I needed anything else (I was still eating); no, he just snorted.
The worst part, though, is that halfway through my meal I started to feel a little bloated. By the time I got home, it was obvious that I had a mild case of food poisoning. Probably the chicken in lukewarm cream sauce.
I'm sticking to Little India from now on. It's predictably good. The dramatic highs and lows of Bombay Clay Oven are more than I can take.
Pros: the tandoori chicken smelled great
Cons: service, food poisoning
