I made reservations at Entre Nous for Valentine?s Day after reading in The Falcon that it was one of the most romantic restaurants in Seattle. Although their website said that it was French tapas, when I made the reservation, the person explained to me (in a very thick French accent) that the menu for Valentine?s day was going to be a four course duet menu where one could choose between three different options for an appetizer and entree and then also have a salad/cheese course and dessert. At under $100 a couple, it sounded divine to me (plus, the French accent made me excited to think I had actually found an authentic French restaurant owned by a real live French person and not a wannabe American).\r \r Oh boy did we strike gold with Entre Nous!\r \r Entre Nous turned out to be a very small and very intimate place. I am not sure if they did it strictly for Valentine?s Day or if there are always candles, flowers and a movie on the ceiling, but as soon as we walked in we felt we had come to the right place for our Valentine?s date! The place is absolutely adorable!\r The food was also incredible. Although service was a little on the slow side (to be fair ? every table was booked as was the bar), we didn?t mind as it gave us plenty of time to get googly eyed over each other. After all, what else is Valentine?s Day about? We each choose different options on their coursed duet menu. I went with the seafood options and my husband went with the meat options so all in all we got to sample scallop tartare, seared scallops, carpaccio, beef kabob, duck and ling cod. Delicious ? Entre Nous should consider marketing its sauces because they were THAT good! For dessert we also had a creme brulee and a hot goey chocolate cake. \r \r Yum. Yum. Yum.\r \r Pros: The perfect setting for romance!
