Stopped by the East Village Tavern last week to support the economy....sampled MANY American craft beers. I liked the ""flights"" offered where you can try 4 or 5 different beers for a reduced price. Bartender was quite knowledgeable and helped me along my patriotic journey. Stayed for some food and the sweet potato fries are amazing. We also the chicken sandwich and cheese steak, which was also quite good. Nice atmosphere and a decent crowd, but still easy to get a drink.\r
