Good: Clean shop, good location for Sugar Land off of Highway 6, polite & friendly\r \r Bad: Expensive, at least for me. I was driving around after business close one weekday with a car battery that was 100% dead (my car running off of a jump) and a state inspection due the next week. I was in a bind, but DCC was nice enough to re-open their doors after closing to help me out. I was so happy that I wouldn't have to change a battery in the Sears parking lot in the dark that I didn't realize how much they were charging me until talking with people a few days later. The mechanic & assistant convinced me that my car (a VW Passat) needed a special battery (I learned that this is not true, and irrelevant since they replaced my factory original Bosch battery with an obvious less-expensive knock-off) and that I shouldn't try to do it myself without proper equipment since improper disconnection of the battery would trip the computer and fail my upcoming inspection (I have heard that this was true). Final cost to me for 15 minutes of work = $194. After talking with other people, the highest that I've heard I should have been charged was $90, which includes disposal and labor. In my opinion, they raked me over the coals. SUMMARY $194 for a new 60 month battery installed in 15 minutes as I waited, afterhours, and my vehicle passed inspection the next week. Was I ripped off? Pros: Location, Cleanliness, Friendliness Cons: Cost
