If you have not been to the Iowa Cubs Club a since January 2006, you might not realize how much it's changed. Gone are the days of menu items beckoning back to the 80's like ""tuna melt"" & or ""diet plate"". You see new things like grilled salmon sandwich on Ciabatta with bacon, lettuce, swiss and chipotle mayo, the salmon was fresh, the waitress told me the Chef had just got it in that morning! My wife had the Nicoise Salad, not what you might expect at a baseball stadium, it arrived expertly prepared with albacore tuna grilled rare on top of romaine, chilled boiled red potatoes, green beans, roasted peppers, kalamata olives, hard boiled egg, fresh basil, and garlic-white balsamic vinaigrette. But this place has not forgotten it's a ballpark; everyone around us was eating thick half-pound burgers. We'll be back again! I still want to try that NewYorkSteakSandwich! Pros: Inexpensive, Free downtown parking, Excellent food!!! Cons: crowded
