\r \r I am a student that attends UTPA and my father was hospitalized about 3 weeks ago. He was hospitalized due to a severe numbness of his left arm at the Regional Hospital in Edinburg Texas. He was released because according to the doctors there was nothing wrong with my father even though he still could not feel his arm. The following morning he still felt pain so we decided to take him to another hospital by the time we reached anoter hospital my father could no longer move his left arm shortly after his left leg gave up as well. At that hospital he was diagnosed with a CVA (stroke). He is now paralyzed and has left hemiplegia. I am very upset because I believe that my fathers condition could of been prevented. Maybe they didn't pay that much attention because of the simple fact that my father does not have health insurance or just negligence. I believe that it could of been prevented. I just hope that this incident does not happen to any one else. \r \r
