Although this place is not very big, there are some really neat displays of insects and invertabrates such as sea stars and horseshoe crabs. The highlight is the large greenhouse filled with "free range" butterflies. This place is also reasonably priced for a family membership. However it is very popular for school field trips so a call ahead would be useful.

Adventure Golf has three different courses to choose from. They are all fun, but I like the one with the huge Aztec Indian that spits out fire when you make the ball go on the right path. This golf course it creative and fun and is great with or even without the kids! It is a cheap thrill for $4.95 for in district rates. They just completed the raceway right across the parking lot which also looks like fun. They do Birthday parties too.

If you need to escape from your everyday routine, this is a great place to get away! They have great food and entertainment, plus all the games are great! Test your skills at pop-a-shot or race someone on the slopes! It is easy to get carried away with the games, so buy a power card and once it is gone, leave!

If you need an change of pace for entertainment and want to get a little workout as well, go bowling! This bowling alley is really nice, as they just did some remodeling. They are extremely family friendly and offer great group deals! It is still a typical bowling alley, as it reeks of smoke, but if you go during the day, it isn't too bad!

This is the best deal in town!
1.50 movies all day, every day.
If you're like me and too busy to see a movie when it comes out, try the Westie, it probably has it. The popcorn is the good kind that you are used to from when you were a kid. It actually tastes like butter and they don't have to put oil all over it.
I take the whole family for under 10 bucks.
The newer theaters would cost me more like 50 or 60$.
