Dr Carter is the most caring and professional OBGYN I have ever seen in my life. His staff was also amazing.
I was really nervous to see my first male OBGYN.
He spent a solid 20 minutes just talking to me and my husband before the exam.
I don't want to get into anything negative but my old doctor missed the fact that I had an 11.5 cm dermoid cyst in my ovary which could have ruptured. Dr Carter is so calm and comforting but when he discovered this he became very serious.
Within two weeks he had me in the OR fixing a very serious problem that should have been taken care of a year prior.
His nurse Virginia was so comforting and sweet and his receptionist Erica jumped through hoops to help us deal with complicated insurance issues to make the surgery happen right away.
The surgery was a total success, six weeks out the 4-5"" scar is barely visible and I am totally healed and still fertile! He even came back to visit me in the hospital during my recovery to make sure I was alright.
I trust this man with my life and the lives of my future children.
Besides my scary situation, this was also the quickest and most gentle exam I have ever experienced. I hardly even felt the PAP.
He took the time to answer every question I asked him and not only really cares about his patients but is an incredible and knowledgeable OBYGN and surgeon.
I would recommend him to my mother, my sister and my best friend.
Pros: Caring, professional, short wait time, great staff
Cons: none at all
