Businiess name:  Alex's Pizzeria
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
The pizza is by far the best and most authentic pizza in the Philadelphia area. The dough and sauce is made fresh every morning. They throw it in the oven and swirl the sauce around the cheese just like at the Jersey shore. WARNING: If you are a WASP visiting from the South, you probably have grown accustomed to and prefer the southerner pizza AKA pizza soft crust pizza made from refrozen dough with ketchupy Prego sauce and overloaded with bland cheap waxxy shrink cheese like they use in the less savory national chains. Alex's pizza is high quality and real-deal authentic, like the way they make in in the old country, and NOT crappy southern over-Americanized WASP pizza like they rampantly produce in the south. If you are uncultured and have bad taste in pizza, you're better off going to pizza hut. If not, then go to Alex's!
