I went to Nelly's Salon on the recommendation of a friend who had finally found a salon where she felt welcomed and satisfied. I had a great experience. I'm not exactly the fussy type who walks in with an exact image of each haircut, but I do want my hair style to look good. Usually I hate the arrogant attitudes of downtown salons. My stylist was patient and helpful, and considerate of my ""paranoia"" about losing to many inches, and even suggested a razor cut on my ends, which I loved! I've been to Nelly's twice, and I really don't see myself going anywhere else for awhile. The cut was affordable, and Nelly herself was delightful. The water street location was perfect for me after work, and the salon was nicely appointed. Would definitely recommend to others.
Pros: Skill of stylist, polite, and nice atmosphere
Cons: Maybe later hours??? (Closes at 6 I think)
