Businiess name:  Royal Thai Restaurant

Review content:
the food is overpriced but it is decently authentic. the service is quite horrible, on the otherhand. first, they served food one dish at a time so that one would be cold by the time the next one came - and they didn't bring rice until we had to ask several dishes in (we had to ask for the rice, even though hey purport that rice is included in all of their entrees and specials). they are strangely stingy on rice and serve you 1-2 scoops out of a bowl which they promptly take away. they missed one of our dishes, so we waited an extra 10 minutes while our rice got cold. then the bill came and we were charged for rice for the whole party even though we'd ordered three dishes that were supposed to include rice. the restaurant was not full and very small, so it's hard to believe they messed it up and no one came by to really apologize (even though the host was chatting up a group of caucasian women almost the whole time we were there). when we complained, we were actually don't ""don't come back, it's a simple as that."" we were more looking for an apology and i think it's absolutely a terrible business practice to be so rude. as a person of color it was especially jarring to have this happen, especially when they served and continued to serve caucasian customers with zeal throughout the night. i will definitely not be back, i know i can find better thai food with service and business ethic to match.
