Review content:
I was very pleased with the Bally facility and found the staff, once I was a member, to be friendly and competent. HOWEVER getting out of my STUDENT MEMBERSHIP turned into an unwanted fiasco. Be careful of the fine print and addendums to the contract that you sign. The 3 month membership I had was cancelled after 3 months, but I was automatically enrolled in a month-by-month member at $39/month. I fault myself for not finding this in the contract that I signed, but am upset with Bally for using confusing language and for not being upfront about this at the time of signing. I will personally never use Bally again because of this and because the ""customer service"" I received was not satisfactory. I hope that others have better experiences with Ballys than I did because I understand how important exercise is; it is a shame that in order to work out we have to worry about being deceived by our gyms. Pros: Nice facility, one free consult with a trainer Cons: Unwanted attention from male members, the contracts that have to be signed
