Review content:
I spent many years in this church, starting as a small child. This church will always be a part of my soul, understanding the stability provided during childhood, teen years and adult life. Reverend Gossett, his wife Shirley, and family are all very sincere people. Rest assured that you will be loved and accepted through the most difficult storms life has to offer. Everett Gossett, the Pastor I grew up with, was always there when needed. He is a man of rare integrity. He understands life and the trials we all go through. He is with you during those most difficult times as a friend, not as an authoritarian. He will never throw his perfection at you, he has a very high emotional IQ. Rock solid, always providing guidance, and love regardless of where you may have been. His sincerity is a rare treasure in this world, quite frankly I have not found this kind of realistic sincerity in any other Pastor. He does not hide behind the badge of honor so often found in our society today. He does not wear it as an accomplishment, with the arrogance of earning his way to perfection only to boast. He fully realizes what grace means, taken truly within the heart and he lives by this philosophy. He will help you to understand this grace which is the most freedom anyone could feel, it is joy, hope and life and a feeling of peace too profound for words. This grace comes from Jesus Christ, stop running the perfection, boasting, self critical race and realize now without all these burdens, Run Child Run, You are now free to Love. This was the feeling I experienced, it transformed my life forever. Pros: He will help you to accept your humanity, embraced, whole, but not perfect. Cons: He may give you the courage to realize much of what is wrong lies within. We must own our emotions with compassion in order to constructively work on them.
