Review content:
My wife and I purchased an expensive chandelier here. The chandelier has globes that are fragile. The globes were individually wrapped and packed in a box with the chandelier. Upon unpacking it we found that two of these globes were broken. We immediately called the store and told the salesman who helped us (Joe). He said don't worry they would order new globes for us but they would take about 6 months to receive them because they would be coming from Spain. So we waited a few months before calling again and were told they hadn't come in yet. The story continues pretty much the same, we would call and be told that a shipment was coming in soon, please be patient. We were patient up until July of 2008 when we contacted American Express for their help. We were denied any recourse for waiting so long. Also, Lighting Visions forged my signature on the bill and blocked out on the bill where they wrote they would order two globes for us. I guess the trick that Lighting Vision played on us was to make us believe that they would in good faith replace the two globes for our chandelier and keep us dangling for months until American Express would believe we waited too long to be reimbursed. All we wanted was a chanedlier in perfect condition and for the money that is what we should have gotten. Don't get taken in by these people. Stay away. There are plenty of other lighting stores in Manhattan Pros: None Cons: We received damaged product, were lied to and my signature was forged.
