My experience with Cottman Transmission Durham first started with my experience with Cottman Transmission VA when my truck broke down in the west Virginia mountains. We were on a family vacation, traveling to visit my elderly father-in-law in KY. It was the eve before Christmas Eve, and of course I had a full truck complete with young kids. We made it to a motel and I found Cottman Transmission in the phone book. I knew they had a shop in NC, so I gave them a call. The gentleman I spoke to was the nicest guy you'd ever hope to meet. He was excellent. I explained my situation and they worked with Enterprise rentals to get us a rental that was just able to hold everything we had with us. The man they sent out to tow our truck had the initials of JC, which of course I thought was great since it was so close to Christmas. During our vacation, they had rebuilt the transmission and were just test driving it when we drove up. It was amazing!
Since then, we've gone to Cottman Transmission Durham for all of our service. I'm tickled to death about them and have no qualms about recommending them. I've recommended them to my friends, co-workers and my family. I've taken my son's car there, my mother's car there and of course my car there, which all means that I completely trust them! Mike is the person I usually see when I go there and he is great! If you need anything fixed, he's the one to see! He fixes things so that they run like they're brand new. For me, and my line of work, it's important to have a car that is reliable and with Cottman working on my car, I have no worries! These are really good people who do a great job.
