I TRIED TO HAVE 1800 PET MEDS REFILL A PRESCRIPTION THAT I HAD ORIGINALLY GOTTEN FROM THIS VET CLINIC. NOT ONLY WAS I LIED TO BY THE VET BUT SHE WAS RUDE AND HAD HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
SHE STATED THAT THE MEDICATION COMPANY REFUSED TO LET HER WRITE A PRESCRIPTION UNLESS SHE HAD AN OFFICE VISIT AND BLOOD WORK DONE ON THE DOGS.
I TOLD HER THIS OFFICE HAD DONE THAT THE FIRST TIME AND SINCE I HAD GIVEN THE DOGS THE MEDICATION WITH NO MISSED DOSES THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE HEART WORMS. SHE STATED AGAIN THAT IT WAS A COMPANY RULE AND THAT THE MEDICATION WAS NOT ALWAYS EFFECTIVE.
I TOLD HER AND THE RECEPTIONIST THAT THIS SOUNDED ODD THAT A COMPANY DICTATED TO A VET IF SHE COULD OR COULD NOT WRITE A PRESCRIPTION. THE VET (FEMALE WITH SHORT DARK HAIR) GOT UP AND LEFT WITH OUT EVER SAYING ANYTHING ELSE) LEAVING THE RECEPTIONIST THERE ALONE WITH ME.
THE RECEPTIONIST THEN TOLD ME THE REAL REASON. THAT THE MEDICATION COMPANY WOULD NOT PAY FOR VET BILLS IF THE DOGS HAD HEART WORMS IF THE VET DID NOT DO BLOOD WORK EVERY YEAR. SO IT WAS ABOUT MONEY.
I ASSURED THE VET CLINIC I WAS NOT GOING TO GO AFTER A MEDICATION COMPANY FOR ANY REASON AND IF MY DOGS GOT SICK I WOULD PAY FOR IT MYSELF ANYWAY. THUS REMOVING THE NEED FOR AN OFFICE VISIT. I WAS TOLD NO THEY WOULD NOT FILL THE MEDICATION. I ASKED HOW MUCH FOR THE VISIT. 40 FOR EACH DOG. 40 AND 30 FOR EACH DOG FOR THE BLOOD WORK. 15 DOLLARS FOR SHOTS . SHE THEN INFORMED ME ABOUT 100 DOLLARS TOTAL FOR THE SHOTS. THEN THE COST OF THE MEDICATION I WAS ORIGINALLY SEEKING. THUS TO REFILL THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN OVER 600 DOLLARS.
PAW PATCH PLACE YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED. YOU LIED AND CHEATED. YOU TRIED TO MAKE ME FEEL LIKE A BAD OWNER AND GUILT ME INTO DOING THIS WORK WHEN IT WAS NOT NEEDED EXCEPT TO LINE YOUR POCKETS. I WOULD HAVE CONTINUED TO BRING MY PETS THERE BUT NEVER AGAIN.
NOTE I FOUND A VET ON THE EAST SIDE WHO CALLED IN THE PRESCRIPTION AND WAS HONEST WITH ME ABOUT THE PROBLEMS AND CONCERNS. HE NOW HAS MY BUSINESS AND NOT YOU.
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS
