I have never written a review but my experience was such that I feel compelled to do so. I did a lot of research and based on all of the positive reviews, decided to try Alyson. We spoke at length prior to my appt. I came in with pictures of how I wanted my hair to be cut and discussed it and the color I wanted at length. Bottom line - the worst short haircut I have ever had. The original appointment ran almost 7 hours, the color was not what I had asked for and the cut was worse. To her credit, Alyson told me she would correct the color and I came in the following day and left happier with the color. I have short hair. You can not hide mistakes or a bad cut when your hairstyle is short. It will take me a good 8 weeks for parts of my hair to get long enough to be reshaped. Bottom line - approximately 10 hours over two days - lovely person, selectively listens and I would never recommend her for short hair cuts
