If you are looking for really fresh, quality produce, this is the place. My baby sitter noticed that the fruits and vegetables I bought from Milk Farm lasted a lot longer than the items she bought at the supermarket. Bayside Milk Farm also has a great prepared foods section, especially the homemade soups. The staff and owners (Mike and two Pats) are friendly and helpful.
I once had a boss who lived in Greenwich Village and she would bring a small cooler with her when she visited her father-in-law in Bayside. The cooler was to pick up items from Bayside Milk Farm to take home-- she referred to Bayside Milk Farm as Balducci's with better prices.
