It is nothing special from the outside, in fact its ugly from the outside and the rooms are not amazing but they are average and very clean and it is cheap ($80 for smallest room). It's close to the beach (but a 5min walk to the Pier and 15 min walk to the Promenade) It's only $80 for the smallest room, and for a bit more you can get a large room and an ocean view. Don't expect anything great though, if you want a romantic time go somewhere else! We only stayed here because our day trip to Santa Monica ran a little longer than we expected and we didn't want to take the 2 buses back to Glendale at midnight! (bad experience being stranded in the worst streets of downtown LA at 11:30 pm the LAST time we tried to visit Santa Monica)
