Being a big beer fan this place is just heaven. I have watched Schlafly's beer quality get better and better.
The Oatmeal Stout and Pilsner are very good but some of their seasonals are fantastic. (example Gran Cru and Kaldis Coffee Stout). Dump the bland AB products challenge your palate and step into the world of Craft Beer.
I have eaten here on many an occasion and found the food to be very good. They use local and organic farms to supply their produce and meat. Whatever you choose to eat leave room for dessert. The Sticky Toffee Pudding is perhaps the best in town.
These people deserve a 5 star rating on their community and social involvement alone. Sign up for the newsletter or go to the website and see what I mean. If only more businesses operated with such quality and ethics.
