Review content:
Astral Plane is one of the spots my graduate program wines and dines applicants. The atmosphere is beyond reproach - it features old Hollywood photos on the walls and drapings on the ceilings, like entering the boudoir of a very glamorous woman. The setting is definitely romantic. And much of the food is excellent - I like the cheese and sun-dried tomato stuffed chicken breast. Occasionally, the food is less appealing - the vegetarian pasta in particular is ho-hum. The dessert selections vary often but sometimes include delicious selections like a blueberry cake. Its a romantic date spot but your food may or may not live up to the beautiful decor.
