Plamann Park is a huge park covering many acres of land. They have wooded areas for hiking, several shelters available to rent for gatherings, and several ball diamonds. They have an area set up for frisbee golf, hills for sledding in the winter, a man-made lake for swimming, and several playground areas throughout the park. There is a large shelter with a fireplace up the middle to warm up after an ice skating adventure. There is a children's farm at one end of the park open from May to September, with no admission charge. The surroundings are beautiful, great for picnics, family reunions, or just to get away for a while. There is something for everyone in the family, year round.
