Grandma's attic is the absolute best place to get beading supplies. Not only do they not charge an arm and a leg for a little chunk of glass, their selection is unbeatable and widely varied. The staff is also quite helpful; they are always glad to help you find the right size of ring or bead to complement a project. While Granma's Attic also sells eccentric knick-knacks, this is not their strong point. Sometimes, though, you will find a piece of enamel work or a batiked scarf that is quite catching and reasonably-priced.
