Shopping at this place is a decent choice for people who have compromised credit ratings & can't be approved by the usual means at larger car dealers. Years ago when we were in a situation like this we purchased a car here.
When you agree to purchase a car here, they have you watch a video that shows you how/where to make either weekly/biweekly payments & it also emphasizes the point that once you purchase the car, it doesn't matter if it quits running, you still must finish your payments. I guess this is realistic, since you'd be expected to do the same anywhere else. I do highly recommend having your mechanic check out the car for potential problems before you drive it off the lot.
We bought a car & it ran fine for about 2 years and then went kablooey. Fortunately we were able to work out a deal somewhere else and get another car that was only a couple years old. Somebody else might not have been so lucky though. But, with that said, I should mention I think this dealership takes reasonable care to ensure cars are in good working condition. I don't think they will accept just 'any' car into their showroom for sale.
The salesman who helped us was nice (you see him in the car commercials on TV). We had our picture taken in front of our new car before driving away. You can see all these pictures of happy car owners on the walls of Nice Cars & I feel that most of these people are pleased, although there may be a few like us who had a problem with the car later on.
So, can I recommend this place? Yes, if you cannot deal with a bigger dealership, this is the place to go. They will give you a nicer car than some places, (even though you will pay for it in higher interest rates.) If you need a dependable car, you may not have a better choice.
I should also tell you that when you purchase a car here they automatically install an 'alarm' system. It's really not so much an alarm system as a device for them to disable your car if you don't make a payment.
We fortunately got our car before they started this program & were able to opt out of having to have this annoying device, but you may be required until your name is good with them.
