We took the drive and went to Zoom Flume for a day of fun. It is located in the middle of no where- long haul through hills and trees. The park is a bit outdated and somethings dangerous.
The worst thing was the entire park is almost shaded!!!! There are so many trees around it is shaded almost making it too cold. The large boats/tubes used on 1 large slide were dirty, gross and patches with holes- I was afraid to sit on them. The few other slides were also old- 1 of them that required use of a foam mat to ride on could kill you. I hurt my back and my daughter scraped up her arms from the screws sticking out holding it together. Rough rough rides. There is a small kiddie type area with little things- but no large pool to swim in. I found it hard to spend an entire day there.
