There are probably about ten Indian restaurants to choose from on Route 27 in the Franklin Park area, but Tandoor is my choice when I crave Indian. There is nothing fancy about the place - it is strictly take-out - but in my unprofessional opinion the food is excellent. And for less than twenty dollars two people can get enough for a very large dinner and usually have leftovers for another meal. They have several different curry dishes to choose from, both vegetable and meat, and they also have an excellent choice of biryani dishes.
If I could have any complaint about the place it would be that I find the guy on the phone hard to understand, but then again I wouldn't be happy if I wasn't ordering from an authentic Indian restaurant so the communication difficulties are to be expected. Make sure you call in your order instead of dropping by though, otherwise you'll have to wait a good twenty-five minutes.
