Is it possible NOT to put a star on this place? District should be equivalent to BORING!!!! Let's call ALL the people who love this place and love going there BORING!!!!! Nothing special about these bottles of wine that are marked up to waay expensive. The food is less then inspiring. My boyfriend and I had the pot de creme. . .since when is chocolate creme grainy? YUCK! Have someone taste it before you serve it to the public and get a whiplash from comments.
A wannabe bar for wannabe people. I find more character in my little miniature dachshund then this barbie and ken malibu play house.

One of the hidden secrets of SF. This place is excellent. The ahi tartare cones are so good i can pop them in my mouth like popcorn. I've never had sweetbreads before but the way it is prepared with the madeira sauce is heavenly. My favorite is the Day Boat Scallops. But really the rest of the menu is creative and prepared very very well. The wine list is excellent and they are very generous in preparing their cocktails ;-)
Every Saturday they have the Tangaria Jazz group play. Talented young trio. Where can you go for free jazz, good food, excellent cocktails, extensive wine list and superb service. No where but Vignette. Seriously, I can't believe alot of people don't know about this place. its really really good!

What a disappointment. We went here expecting alot from its reputation. Our grilled asparagus was good, not spectacular but good. My BF ordered the sole and I ordered the skate. Both under seasoned, tasteless, and underwhelming. For dessert, the panna cotta was average nothing exciting.
I've been waiting to go to this restaurant for years. But I think its hay day is on the DEcline.

This place is a great restaurant. The food is well cook. They really know what they are doing back there. My favorites are the Pad Thai and the Duck soup for lunch. The food is well seasoned and the meats are cooked to perfection. Attentive staff, clean, simple, and relaxing ambiance. One of my favorite restaurants.

The 3 stars come from the atmosphere. It is really fun to be at Emmy's. The staff is friendly and "hip" and they always play great music in there. The spaghetti and meatballs are fair. The meatballs are on the verge of being ammunition for a small canon but its ok. The sauce is good. Wine list is ok. Beer are in bottles. The Cucumber martini's not so good.
The food is not that spectacular but I'd go back for the fun atmostphere.

The chicken is the bomb! But unfortunately that's it. The colesaw was boring and the salads are ok. We also had the ceviche. . .eh I'll pass next time. Good assortment of beers. The atmosphere is really cool. I like the vibe, very loud but sometimes I like that.
Make sure you where layers. When i was there, I almost stripped down to my scivies cause the ventilation in there was bad.
But its a good place. I'd go back again.

Wow! The Saltado is my favorite but then again everything on this menu is my favorite. The generous helping of everything keeps me coming back for me. The ceviche, NOW THAT'S CEVICHE (Front Porch, you need to go around the corner and get some lessons from these folks)! Have you ever had peruvian beer? It's good! Very malty, just the way I like it. In my opinion this restaurant blows Limon out of the water. Its cheaper and more homestyle. I definitely recommend.

This is a fabulous restaurant! In the last year, it has improved alot. The food has always been phenomenal and the martinis well-shaken. The staff is young and less polished style then a professional waiter from San Francisco but they are a young, vibrant, and friendly staff.
I have some things to rave about which keeps me coming back for more even if its a bit of a drive from SF. First and foremost their martinis. Ron, the bartender knows how to shake one up and the portions are enormous, its awesome! Second, just introduced on the menu, is the lobster tail, its well presented and tasty. And third, the panna cotta, what a beautiful thing.
Pacifica is a small town and this is a great addition to the culture and cuisine. Now that beloved "Nick's" is closing, the locals and customers from all over the bay area can rely on a place to go to for a nice dinner experience. I highly highly recommend!
