Busy place, good food

Getting a table on a weekend at Houlihan's can require a great deal of patience or luck, or both. Often the wait is over an hour. They do have some nice outdoor seating during the warm weather, which is very pleasant. Their food is good, standard pub-style fare and they always have a few appealing specials. The service is business-like but pretty good and efficient. Their high chairs are not always in good repair, so that is a little difficult when eating with children. Their desserts are good but too big for even two people to share.
