There is not a Fareway grocery store close to me but I like to get some things at this grocery. I have to weigh the benefits of driving to the store in North Liberty against the cost in time and gas money.
This is how I figure it pays me to shop at Fareway. If I am in the area and don't have to make a special trip I will stop at the store in North Liberty. I like their meats and their produce. The meat seems to be higher in quality than other local markets. Their produce while of similar quality to others is much lower in price.
I find the store to be clean and the service friendly.
The downfall of shopping at the Fareway store is that the selection is not as good as at larger markets. Sometimes I am unable to find the articles I'm looking for on their shelves.
The only fair way to shop at Fareway is to avail myself of those thing I like to get in this store when I'm in the area.
