J.G. Melon is a very popular, somewhat unusual spot for the thoroughfare it's smack dab right in the middle in. Amongst all the boutiques and Euro-style restaurants is this lower-key, tavern-like restaurants where the guys go because they're instantly comfortable and the girls go because the guys like it.
Their small, limited menu focuses on the basics, like burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, and salads. It's a very reasonable choice for lunch or dinner. In nice weather, they have a small sidewalk cafe for dining. I personally prefer eating inside, as the sidewalk section is very cramped and not very relaxing, what with the shopping hordes buzzing around you.
