It's hard to find a good restaurant in West Seattle. But no longer! Decor is nice; almost like Thaiku in Ballard. Although their noodle dishes don't compare to Thaiku's, Budda Ruska's signature Crispy Garlic Chicken is heavenly. I've never had pan-fried chicken this perfect over crispy basil leaves. Don't forget to get the Tom Yum (sp?) soup as well; great presentation and really fresh ingredients. yum.

I found this place from an article on top rated auto repair shops in the Seattle Times. They're honest people with fair prices. On a routine oil tune-up, they discovered an oil leak that a Subaru dealership had missed! They do not pressure and they actually have this great "Car Club" deal where you buy 3 oil changes and they give you one free 15K service.

1621 E Olive Way Seattle, Washington 98102 (206) 324-2577
Although the service here can be spotty, Glo's does have the city's best Eggs Benedict and Hash Browns! I don't know of any place that comes close.

I brought my Impreza in to do some maintenance and also asked them to secure my floor mat as well as look at the jammed cupholder. I thought these would be done as a favor, but they charged me $25 to (temporarily!) secure the floormats and $45 to just grease the cupholder!
Another time, my A/C was shot and repaired for $600. It turned out that only fixed it for a couple times. I had to bring it back for another $600 repair on a different component. Makes you wonder if the first component didn't need to be replaced.
I don't think Carter is an honest shop. They're in it to bleed you of every dollar you have!
The only pluses are their loaner cars and friendliness?
