Oh my gosh, I can't believe I've made it this long without discovering Tea Time. Imagine your own three dish "snack" that includes blueberry crumpets, mouthwatering bacon and egg quiches, petit fours, fruit, and cucumber, dill and cream cheese sandwiches. Alex and I were in absolute belly heaven! Of course everything was accompanied by our own pots of tea.
The Library Cafe is an interesting combination of bookstore, coffee house, and restaurant in a building that used to sell hearths. Thus, fireplaces are aplenty
As warning you do need to reserve a table for tea at least 24 hours in advance. I heard service here for other meals can be sketchy, but we had no problems on our visit.
